17-9-2018 We are not like the other people.. we... follow the turn..with order in transportation..the elder yields to the younger..and the younger respects the elder...and we do not throw garbage out of the car window..and our streets have neither dust...nor does any scraps of paper or food waste accumulate on their sides...we respect the signals...even without the presence of a policeman... whom we respect...because respecting him...is from self-respect..we have a state that has dignity..thank God..but when its people hear of something wrong!..you find them..they resolve matters..in a strict manner..so that the obedient is not caught in the snare of the disobedient!.. even when foreigners come!!...those who have no names..they enter into the middle of these nights into our areas where we are..one thousand..not by the letter b...and they remain standing watching over them..until they finish..their work..and this is so even if it happens every night; they are vigilant...and remain at their posts.!!...We forgive each other in any traffic incident..and if matters escalate..and it becomes a run-over and death..we go take those elders from the relatives..and friends..and we go ..to the diwan of the family of the run-over person..and we resolve it with a cup of coffee...there is actually no need for the law and its personnel....leave them for the major cases..let them stay awake over them for the homeland...until they find a solution to the case..it has been for some time they go back and forth..rounds and trips.. Do you see this young man in front of you in the seat...I asked him yes...he said..he is twenty-five years old..they have been since the day his mother brought him and they have been pursuing him here and there to solve the case..!!..and they are tired, may God not let their efforts be lost..
..and I tell you briefly and usefully...as long as employment in our ministries and departments is this sparse, hiring is barely trickling..!!..there is no increase nor inflation...and we do not have...the empty macho nepotism of the employee who cannot believe in himself to sit on the chair except...by bringing his relatives and friends and neighbors.., likewise promotions follow their proper procedures according to the law..not every year a grade or rank..because if we open the field..everyone would become..above..in the blink of an eye...no after..after..the general director or major general..and we cannot refer someone to early retirement..except after studying the cases..according to the law..and we do not give privileges except to the creative ones..and those who present extraordinary things for the homeland..despite their number..they take matters into account...and by direction of the senior ones who keep vigil...over the public interest..and who enforce the law..actually the elders..they take into consideration..that we have a particularity..because we do not have a parliament..nor many established unions..nor human rights groups like the foreigners..nor do we have..these employees coming and going traveling..abroad..on short training missions they call...exchange of experiences and outings and twinnings..between us and them...we the elders know that we are deprived of these things, so they grant us them in other matters...these are the people of the palaces the elders...do not care..about their interests..they are chaste...even their children..do not have a car..and even if one of their children gets a low average in the Tawjihi..they teach him a craft.!!.although they can send him..abroad to Britain or France..because the elders have..seats..abroad or even in domestic universities..they place them in an exception of the average. of course not a rule..and nevertheless they cannot breach the law..and the system..they are role models..and cannot accept any gift..even if it were a valuable present..such as..a plot of land in a housing association..with a group counted...as relatives of one of the palaces..they first fear their Lord...and there is also a mufti they have always every day advising them..for the fear of God and to refrain from wrongdoing...and there is oversight...from specialized agencies...
And as long as there is continuous concern from the people of the palaces for finding work for jobseekers from the villages and the general populace...despite their multitude and especially that they are all university graduates..they take care that appointments follow the order..as for the workers they are in preservation and protection..they always follow up on their rights with the other occupiers..and there are always committees and meetings..in order not to have their rights eaten....and to remit their dues..to us for investing them for the workers' children..and addressing them in their studied manner..!!!.Despite that their number is in the tens of thousands...yet our elders follow up on their conditions..and they lecture them every period and period..and conduct workshops.....many of these seminars have been held..and coordination has been made with the entities..that they work with - the foreigners - in order to solve any problem encountered by the working class..and any incidents involving them....they love such sacred work of coordination for the benefit of the workers..and their families!!..
We are well as long as the palace elders..do not side with any association of relatives or kinship or friendship..or even acquaintance....for example...in issuing any licenses to establish petrol stations or customs exemptions....or allocating plots of land...they are strict in such matters..thank God..and they cannot intervene in the judiciary if something happened with their children or the children of their relatives or the children of their acquaintances...any traffic accidents or disputes..and they affirm to the competent agencies not to be lenient with those related to them on their side..by releasing them quickly..for example..without taking the necessary measures...for the right is the right...like them like others..!!! We are fine as long as.... the decision-makers among us..carry only the passport of their country..they are not like those who hold more than one nationality..except if it is for family reunification with relatives abroad.... and all of them refuse to obtain special cards from the foreigners..to pass their private cars during their travel abroad...because they believe that such privileges...have a costly price..they do not need that..and they are role models for the people of the villages from their countrymen..all equal in the constitution..
We are fine as long as the appointment of the official is based on competence and ability..and they the elders cannot appoint any official based on their closeness or remoteness to them!!...and if an exception occurs..they continuously monitor this relative..and monitor his purchases!!..and his acquisition of cars and buying horses..and trips and appointing sons or opening companies for them..from subcontracting or placing their sons as heads of ostensibly non-profit organizations..!!...the elders in our lands cannot proceed in such ways..they are first of all owners of a cause and under occupation..and they fear God..and respect the provisions of the constitution and the laws issued..by the parliamentary and legislative councils competent...!!
We are fine because our elders started from where others left off...that is how we are..!!
And so that my friend...the speaker nicknamed . Abu Tha'laba... does not continue recounting this dialogue that took place between him and a citizen whose name he did not tell me...from a brotherly Arab country...on their trip together on a plane headed to Sana'a.. I told him..that is enough...you reassured me about this country!!...from some passages of your conversation with the Arab brother..I have praised God for the course of events..and I hope we will sit again..and continue..the conversation..together..and you as it seems are truthful...there is no evasion in your words with your Arab friend..and you are not one of what the proverb said.."There is none more lying than a young man who went abroad....except the choice that the generations have died"... May God bring what is good......and give you according to the goodness of your tongue...and I thank God that no one was near us.....although my friend was much upset..and said I still have not told a quarter of the conversation that occurred...!! I told him it's okay we'll meet soon..and we will continue..God willing..and may God protect you..
I returned home from my sitting with my friend..in the popular and lovely café in Ramallah called "Baladna" ...and I had a throbbing headache.. from the stories..of this friend..who despite that...comforted my chest...and returned me to the old days...when I used to hear someone..ask..another...how are things..with you...he would reply and say..............everything is fine sir.....!!
My prayer to God is to protect this homeland..and to protect its officials and people from all lineages and origins..from its palaces and villages..equal..no distinction.....!!according to what my friend told me about his conversation with his Arab friend..on their trip to beautiful Sana'a..which will remain beautiful despite...the exhalation of the oppressive aggressors...
