·       American policy ... and "the economic assassination of nations " . Published on my Facebook page on 9-7-2017

●      What I liked, while reading some political and economic books and others during the retirement period I live in, are some passages from the book "confessions of an economic hit man", by its author John Perkins, which was published in 2004; then a new edition and an update to the rest of the story were published in 2016, and it is one of the best-selling political books. The first edition published in 2004 has an Arabic translation, noting that it has been translated into more than 36 languages worldwide.

●      The economic expert—the author—shed light on the practices of an elite of businessmen and politicians in the United States to build a global empire controlled by them, and how economists like the author used international financial institutions to create conditions that lead developing countries to submit to the hegemony of the American elite that runs government, corporations, and banks.....! The expert prepares the studies on the basis of which the financial institutions agree to grant loans to the target developing countries, and the approval is conditional on American engineering firms and construction companies carrying out these projects. Perkins exposes the deceptive character of the dry numbers in the studies, and Perkins uncovers the invisible side of the loan-and-project plan, which is the formation of a group of wealthy families ... with economic and political influence within the debtor state. Perkins admitted that he and his highly paid expert colleagues managed to push—for example... Ecuador toward bankruptcy in the last century. 1981. Perkins also explained that he and his expert colleagues, as we noted above, bent the language to package their strategy of economic looting...! Using concepts such as "good governance" and "trade liberalization," consumer rights, etc. The book consists of several chapters; in its fifteenth chapter—according to the author—he cited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and money-laundering operations, and this was in 1974—according to the author—and the author accused Saudi Arabia of being a major funder of terrorism in the world—according to him—. The author also included a sixteenth chapter about hiding Bin Laden's days and his financing ... and the book deserves to be read, as I cannot, in these remarks, provide all the summaries of the many chapters of the book..!

●      I will try to look for an Arabic-translated copy of the book and inform you about it....
A book full of dangerous and shocking information for the reader regarding the control of the United States—I mean the group of major American corporations—and the plundering of the countries of the world, and how they engineer American society's approval, and charge it ...!...with regard to any decision in international policy (the containment policy), and convince American society that this concerns American national security...!
