· (North West Bank) 2020 : Total population 1,198,919 persons, in which 121 branches operate, and 224 ATMs, and the total of its deposits at the end of 2020 amounted to 4,364,943,439 dollars, representing 28.8% of the total deposits in Palestine, while the total banking facilities in this region amounted to 1,891,981,641 dollars, representing 18.7% of the total banking facilities in Palestine, ..detailed by governorates as follows:

1- (Nablus): Population: 408,000 persons, number of branches: 46 branches, representing 12% of the total number of branches operating in Palestine 2020, while the number of ATMs reached 86 ATMs, representing 12.2% of the total ATMs operating in Palestine -2020, and the total deposits at the end of 2020 amounted to 1,989,247,159 dollars, representing 13.1% of total deposits, while the total banking facilities amounted to 1,090,842,441 dollars, representing 10.8% of total banking facilities in Palestine for 2020.

2- (Jenin)): : Population: 332,050 persons, number of branches: 30 branches, representing 7.9%, number of ATMs 54 ATMs, representing 7.7%, total deposits at the end of 2020 amounted to 1,056,686,080 dollars, representing 7% of total deposits, and total banking facilities 368,083,655 dollars, representing 3.7% of total banking facilities.

3- (Tulkarm) : Population: 195,341 persons, number of branches: 21 branches, representing 5.5%, number of ATMs 41 ATMs, representing 5.8%, total deposits at the end of 2020 amounted to 716,843,470 dollars, representing 4.7%, total banking facilities amounted to 208,623,741 dollars, representing 2%...

1- (Hebron): Total population 762,541 persons, with 54 branches, representing 14.2% of the number of branches, 96 ATMs, representing 13.7% of the number of ATMs, its total deposits at the end of 2020 amounted to 1,511,771,549 dollars, representing 10% of total deposits, while the total banking facilities in this region amounted to 563,561,121 dollars, representing 5.6% of total banking facilities in 2020.

2- (Bethlehem): Total population 229,884 persons, with 27 branches, representing 7.1% of the number of branches, 53 ATMs, representing 7.5% of the number of ATMs, its total deposits at the end of 2020 amounted to 1,250,459,218 dollars, representing 6.3% of total deposits, while the total banking facilities in this region amounted to 565,011,433 dollars, representing 5.6% of total banking facilities.

· (Gaza Strip) : Population of the Gaza Strip amounted to 2,047,969 persons, number of branches: 58 branches, while the number of ATMs was 94 ATMs, deposits of the Gaza Strip at the end of 2020 amounted to 1,429,157,589 dollars representing 9.4% of total deposits, while its facilities in the same period amounted to 891,898,681 dollars, representing 8.9% of total banking facilities in 2020...

· It is clear that the banking data of the Gaza Strip... in 2020, and in all the years after the bitter division, do not correspond to the Strip's population, nor to its capacities... and potentials.. despite the unjust, continuous, unrelenting siege on the Gaza Strip.. by the Israeli occupation authorities... and by some parties that have an interest in dividing the Palestinian people, where this division has lasted for more than 16 years.. and therefore, it is sad and painful that we prepare statistics and reports about Palestine.. only for the Gaza Strip to appear.. as if its banking data are even smaller than the data of a city in the West Bank.!
