· A few days ago .. I boarded a public means of transport going to my town Azun....to spend a few days ...to clear the land of the long weeds clinging to the olive roots (olive trees), and to partially remove the stones from the land..and to plow and fertilize it....so that at the beginning of the coming year, we can prune the olive trees in a process called (qashbara of the olive)!, especially after their trees have been sufficiently watered..by the rainwater.
· The passengers chatted, each from his own perspective, about the political situation, and the focus was on the American elections, and the conflict between the two parties..some say ..that they have democracy, and some say ..this is Israel and Zionism and the lobby...behind all this..and others say..that Israel is in a critical position..from the departure of President Trump ,,and the arrival of the new President Biden..., and some said: that Israel achieved what it sees in its interest....quietly..and calmly..and in cooperation with Arab regimes here and there ..scattered..around the world..but the political conversation was cut off..for a moment in time...then an old man spoke..like me..where:
· I heard a person who broke the thread of the group conversation and the silence that followed..., and he said in a calm voice..that politics has no constants..it wanders between interests ...and the minimum limits..and the maximum limits.... Only one thing deciphers its code...!..and nothing stands in its way.!. So everyone asked him ..What is it, Hajj?..what is it? ..He said there is an old proverb ..from ancient times ..they used to say it..and I think it is a permanent employee of our Arab regimes in their dealings with international politics..Okay what does it say, Hajj.... ?..He said:::: "Barrels untie trousers"..they are the movers....and they are the changer... ..and they are the replacers of positions....and the destabilizers of them...so we all said ..where did this correct proverb come from, Hajj ..we hear it for the first time!
· I said to myself....O God, do not untie our trousers, and keep us steadfast in what we believe in of faith and truth and principles and good manners and responsible obedience!!...O God, do not make us in need..of what would change our convictions...O God, Amen..we will not change no matter the temptation...and we will not strip off our clothes!!
