Famous British Singer Roger Waters Sings for Palestine

With these words the famous British singer Roger Waters opened a moving, pro-Palestine song (Palestine Oh My Home)..

He began it: "On a sleepless night, and my window is broken...................." then "My country's olive tree, smoke rose from it, I heard the children scream, and I heard the war drums, gunpowder in the air and dead bodies in the streets .." then he concluded it about Israel by saying "They raised their flag in white and blue, and they erected walls in broad daylight, they marched with tanks and spoke with rifles, they thought they were God’s chosen people, they do not know what is inside me, and that resistance is my key to opening locked doors".... (Quoted from Al-Hadath newspaper dated 19-6-2018

One sleepless night.... My window broke.... My olive tree... Went up in smoke.... I heard the children scream..... I heard the war drum beat...... Gunpowder in the air.... Dead bodies on the streets.....
PALESTINE! PALESTINE! PALESTINE! Oh! My Home
PALESTINE! PALESTINE! PALESTINE! Oh! My Home
-------- ------------------------------------------------
They raised their flag…. In blue and white… Erected walls…. In broad daylight… They walked with tanks They spoke with guns… They thought they were… God’s chosen ones … They didn’t know inside me ....is a soul that never gives up? Resistance is my key… To a door locked up
Oh! My Home
