Sighs of Pain: A Plea for Protection for Palestine

Sighs of pain... and people are asleep:

O Allah, protect Palestine and its people, for they have no protector except You....

In the pitch black of the night, in the middle of these nights... with the whistling wind and the winter's piercing cold... and the stillness of the night, we still hear the sounds of bombs and explosions by the Zionist occupation army in the city of Al-Bireh... for the fourth consecutive day.... And it may be all a commotion—but in other areas far from our residence in the industrial area..... they break into homes and terrify the children... searching for the fighters... they do not care about charters or heavenly scriptures or the international community... nor treaties that it was said they still honor.... unjustly...!. Our children may be afraid... but the entire occupation... is afraid... and terrified.. this is the truth.... We will not leave these lands.... and we will not surrender.... holding fast to and content with our faith in God and in Palestine and in our Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of this world..... Our voice will not be silenced.. even if others fall silent.. regarding all this injustice, oppression, and colonialism.. here.. our homeland.. and we will remain in it and die in it with dignity... and let the occupation depart.... for Palestine is the Palestine that is whole in our hearts..... for us and for our nation.. and the fire within us will not be extinguished... O Allah, the tyrants have increased in their tyranny.... We ask You for deliverance..... and for Your safety and protection... You are All-Hearing, Responsive...
