Every Year, Palestine in the Heart

May our Palestinian people be more steadfast every year, more aware, more united...and closer to freedom!

With the approach of the new year 2026, we bid farewell to a heavy year written with sorrow, burdened with pains and wounds, a year that witnessed the continuation of a brutal war of extermination against our people in the Gaza Strip, and ongoing aggression and suffering in the West Bank, and the falling of thousands of martyrs and wounded, and the torture, abuse, and killing of the prisoners in the Israeli occupation's jails, and displacement and destruction that struck both stone and people!

We bid farewell to a year that tried to break our will, but it did not succeed in breaking our spirit, nor in uprooting our faith in the justice of our cause, nor in extinguishing the hope rooted in the hearts of Palestinians generation after generation.

Welcoming a new year does not mean forgetting the wounds, but rather the determination to turn them into strength, sorrow into awareness, and suffering into a motive for unity and action.

·       We hope that 2026 will be a year in which the Palestinians unite, reclaim their role and their free will, and take real and solid steps toward ending the occupation, freeing themselves from injustice, and building a future befitting the sacrifices of the martyrs, the patience of the prisoners, the steadfastness of mothers, and the return of the refugees.

We hope the new year will bring greater hope and less pain, and that it will be a path toward establishing an independent Palestinian State, with Jerusalem as its capital; may it be a year of lighter pain, more life, and closer to the homeland we deserve.

May our Arab peoples, the Islamic peoples, and the free people of the world be well, united, and in solidarity every year!
