·       This is what the American newspaper The Washington Post said... in an article this morning... Thursday 14-7-2022.... We followed the statements of the American president after his arrival in Israel, where he warmly praised the existence of Israel as a Jewish state.... Despite the density of the American president’s agenda on this trip to the Middle East... his focus on describing Israel as (the Jewish state... or the state of the Jews)... everywhere.... drew attention. What is meant by repeating such provocative words? It is clear that the American president did not consider the feelings of the Palestinians as the Israelis accommodated themselves to his visit; they postponed approval for the construction of 2000 housing units - settlement units... for a week and postponed the demolition of one of the homes of Palestinian militants... for only a week..... on the occasion of the American president’s visit... to Israel....!! ...To such an extent has the belittling of us and laughing at our beards become the same whether we are tall or short our whole lives ..!.... And it is known that President Biden will meet the Palestinian president tomorrow, Friday, in Bethlehem, as planned... in a brief, limited meeting not enough for exchanging words of courtesy...!.. Palestinians expect words ...and good deeds ...from the American president through past promises...!. But the repetition of the phrase Israel a Jewish democratic state by the American president... before his meeting with the Palestinians and the Arab dignitaries in Jeddah... is striking and does not bode well....! He neglected... and paid no heed to the Palestinians who are the owners of the land and constitute 20% of the population in Israel.... they are the landowners.. first and last.... He also paid no heed to the reports of UN agencies... which issued UN reports that there is racial discrimination and an organized system of segregation....... against the Palestinian Arab population in Israel.. He also paid no heed.... to the Palestinians.. while Israel is carrying out acts of destruction and killing, confiscating bodies and settlement........ Nor to the Arabs... in his pride in Israel and his blessing of the existence of Israel as a Jewish state.. while he presents himself as a sponsor of peace between Israelis and Palestinians. He also boasted that he leans toward Zionist thought...!... It is not unlikely in tomorrow’s meeting in Bethlehem with the Palestinian president that he will repeat to the Palestinians his admiration for the existence of Israel ..as a Jewish state and ask them — that is, the Palestinians — for the necessity of coexistence and recognition of Israel as a Jewish state...! in exchange for many promises and incentives repeatedly told to them by the Americans.... This is a dangerous direction..! For the resolution of the conflict and the liquidation of the Palestinian issue... has been titled and remains since long ago "to extract an official Palestinian recognition of the Jewish state". To nullify all Palestinian narratives and rights... With this the American president became clear, in that he did not depart from the vision of his predecessor, the former American president Trump... and the "Deal of the Century"... which the latter tried to implement by convincing the Palestinians that it would bring them good... in addition to his view on Iran.... and the nuclear agreement...... President Biden came wearing Trump’s cloak..!! The evidence for that is the consolidation of all attention and affirmation of American support... to Israel.. without reservation, in intimacy.. surpassing diplomacy...... There are many intentional signs... that indicate neglecting any mention of the Palestinians... For example the officials and supervisors of the protocol for the American president’s trip to the Middle East announced that the U.S. National Security Advisor erred, after only an hour of his briefing journalists on the presidential plane while flying to the Middle East, by saying that the American administration is (concerned) with opening the American consulate.. in East Jerusalem...!. That is, the presidential team denied the existence of such an intention..... And in deliberate disregard of the Palestinians as a player of stature.... the concept of "two-state solution" was not mentioned in words to the audiences he received in Israel.. except as a vague and quick reference. It did not reach one minute..! He then followed it and repeated before the attendees in Israel.... words that do not inspire optimism and (throw dirt on the Americans) when he followed it by saying: that this solution is not in the near-term timeline......("Don’t rejoice")...!

·       Finally, should we expect a glimmer of hope from our Arab brothers among the countries attending the expected summit in Jeddah.....! that their response, for example to an expected American request to increase daily oil supply to face the energy crisis in the United States and the world.... be conditional on the United States confirming that it will contribute to solving the Palestinian issue and implementing the vision of the two-state solution seriously....... as the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002 said with the conditions of Arab peace with Israel.......! Knowing that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia — according to verbal reports — in one of his sessions with the Palestinians in previous years, told them (the Palestinians) very frankly and firmly, "You must speak about peace and work for it.... and if you do not wish to, then be silent"....!

·       The Palestinians again are not simple people in politics, nor in the struggle for their freedom......but they truly believe in just and lasting peace.... We say that they are key players in the Middle East... and capable.. of paving the way to freedom and liberation from the Israeli occupation... by all means and they are creative….. And let us say…. the Middle East is neither beautiful nor stable... without the State of Palestine....!
