-        Is it really true that representatives of Arab peoples in parliaments and legislative councils...find no alternative to an Arab ruler who spends his life in the seat of power.!! Do these representatives, willingly or under the threats of the ruler’s cronies, hasten to delete the phrase prohibiting extension of the presidency beyond the two terms specified in the constitutions...in these countries ,,,and make it either open to the current ruler from the palace to the grave..or extend the terms to a third, fourth and eighth..!!..because the current president, as they announce, is without equal in the country !! ..in terms of political stability, welfare, currency stability and the absence of inflation or unemployment ...and some of them preserved their country so it did not split in his era into a state in the south and a state in the north..!!...and all these attributes we all wished would exist in reality !!

-        We recall with bitterness the state of our Arab parliaments and legislative councils, while we watch the fierce dispute in the United States between the executive administration in the White House and the legislative administration in the American Congress..and how dialogues and interrogations are conducted to crystallize and shape the American position on the assassination of Khashoggi..and the war in Yemen..The Congress, which represents the American people, monitors the application of the provisions of the American Constitution and preserves it at all times...and it consolidates the fundamental freedoms..in American society...As for the executive administration represented by the President and his staff..it is subject to oversight by the American Congress...which alone has the authority to amend the American Constitution.!!..and we see how Congress decides the course of American interest...and we have not heard any member of Congress ever ponder to extend for any American president...any presidential term beyond two terms..after elections each term..!!...regardless of the situation...except in wartime...there the constitution is respected..in that country and in all democratic countries in the world..and it is a red line for them!!..except in our Arab world..where rulers do not like this color.!!

-        On Tuesday before yesterday, and since Sudanese President al-Bashir, aged 74, is approaching the end of his seventh presidential term since assuming power in 1989, having so far spent 29 years in power, and his presidency is scheduled to end in 2020, the parliament met and decided to extend President al-Bashir’s rule to another third term after the end of his second term since the implementation of the new constitution in 2005...a constitution whose articles do not permit the president to assume any third term...!!

-        There are demands in the Sudanese parliament to amend the constitution..and to extend al-Bashir’s long rule over Sudan and to secure another term and expand his powers, despite the Sudanese president’s repeated previous pledges not to run...and that he would relinquish power at the end of his term..promising to hand Sudan to his successor free of wars.!!. The ruling National Congress Party had amended its basic statute to allow al-Bashir to remain head of the party in preparation for the parliament’s step...

-        Thirty-three parties represented by 294 deputies submitted a memorandum to amend the constitution regarding the number of times the president is permitted to be nominated..!! according to the justification of jurisprudence scholars of legislation and constitutional laws..because the president achieved a lot for Sudan during his rule. And its continuation will lead to further achievements and greater stability in the presence of a kind of political plurality...!

-        The opposition says that al-Bashir’s rule is the rule of a single party and the sole leader who occupies all the state positions whether political or military..as is the case with all leaders in the Arab homeland..!!
Sudan is not an exception to the Arab legislative councils and parliaments, as in Algeria where the people’s representatives seek to extend President Bouteflika’s fourth presidential term..and before that in Tunisia and Libya and Egypt..where representatives of the people try to extend the presidential term to six years...instead of four years. And in Syria forever..and Lebanon and Yemen...!! The president is wanted by the people through their representatives...forever..because the current ruler...was not created by Arab society like him and it is possible to hereditary[?] the ainaa ..because the offspring from the Aryan race which does not reproduce.!!

-        One exception, also from great Sudan....is Field Marshal Abdel Rahman Swar al-Dahab, who passed away to the mercy of God this year..a son of Sudan..he was faithful to the people...and honest. He resigned as he pledged to the Sudanese people when he was entrusted with the chairmanship of the Transitional Council in 1986 after an uprising against the rule of President Jaafar Nimeiri; Field Marshal Swar al-Dahab handed over power after one year of presiding over the Transitional Council...to Prime Minister Al-Sadiq al-Mahdi and then retired from political work..to be the first Arab president...to speak the truth before his people..and to voluntarily relinquish the seat of power for the benefit of the country...!!

-        We see everything in our Arab world subordinated to serving the leader...and these leaders boast that in their countries there is no freedom and justice and law in the world like theirs....and the truth is that they celebrate and boast about using modern technology to organize the numerous prisons in their countries instead of employing this technology in the few hospitals and the laboratories countable on the fingers of one hand in the country..to invent a new vaccine to treat their poor and unemployed peoples!!.....May God help us!
